Product Description
This sophisticated instrument is designed with totally indigenous technical know-how and components. It directly reads the rate of flow of air / gases, eliminating the need to import such instruments.
Electronic Anemometer has several advantages over the mechanical type in common use, which is only a totalizer. To measure velocity, the Mechanical anemometer requires integration with respect to time. whereas the Electronic Anemometer, when placed in the air-flow to be measured, directly reads the air velocity in meters / second.
The use of micro-circuits makes the Electronic Anemometer, remarkably compact and trouble free. They also permit the measurement of air-flow to an accuracy of +/- 2%.
Besides the advanced electronics, the design incorporates many outstanding features.
The sensing head consists of a chemically etched and dynamically balanced stainless steel turbine, which is pivoted on re-enforced jewel bearings, making it extremely sensitive to minute changes in the air- flow.
Non-optical, non-magnetic, non-contact Transducer is insensitive to vibrations, dust, temperature, humidity, very high intensity magnetic fields. (AC or DC) and ultrasonic radiation.
The Transducer uses the principle of FREQUENCY MODULATION and SLOPE DEMODULATION, resulting into the conversion of air-flow into electrical output. After suitable processing the output is read on the digital display.
Optional facility for AIR TEMPERATURE measurement can be incorporated in the same instrument.

FAQ's of Vane Anemometer:
Q: How does the vane anemometer measure air velocity and flow?
A: The vane anemometer uses a high-sensitivity vane sensor to accurately detect air velocity and volumetric air flow. By rotating at a speed corresponding to the airflow, the sensor provides real-time readings in various units (m/s, ft/min, km/h, mph, knots), and calculates air flow up to 99999 m3/min.
Q: What are the display and data storage features of this device?
A: The device has a large backlit LCD display that shows air velocity, flow, and temperature. It supports data hold, displays maximum and minimum readings, and stores current, average, and peak values to facilitate reviews and analysis during or after measurement sessions.
Q: When can I use this anemometer for measurements?
A: You can use this instrument anytime instant, reliable air velocity or temperature readings are needed-especially during HVAC maintenance, industrial inspections, or outdoor surveys. Its quick 1-second response time and portability allow for efficient and immediate onsite assessments.
Q: Where is this anemometer most effectively used?
A: This tool is best suited for environments that demand precise airflow measurement-such as HVAC systems, industrial plants, laboratories, and field settings. It operates effectively under humidity of less than 80% RH and at altitudes up to 2000 meters.
Q: What process should I follow for using this device?
A: Simply install a 9V battery, connect the vane sensor, power on the unit, and select the desired measurement mode. Position the sensor in the airflow, allow the high-sensitivity processor to capture readings, and use the data hold or storage functions as needed. Refer to the included user manual for detailed operational guidance.
Q: What are the primary benefits of choosing this anemometer?
A: This anemometer offers precise, multi-unit airflow and temperature measurement, fast sampling, a robust yet lightweight design, and user-friendly features. Its portability, instant response, factory calibration, and comprehensive data storage make it an essential tool for professionals seeking reliable results in challenging environments.
